Welcome

My name is Scott Bragg and I love helping men (and birth partners) navigate the challenges with the role as a dad.

Becoming a father is an amazing life change leading to heartfelt joy and happiness. However, many dads go through a range of experiences including:

  • feeling confused
  • reduced confidence
  • putting one’s partner’s needs over themselves in an unhealthy way
  • feeling invisible, resentful, overwhelmed, etc.
  • sleep deprivation
  • isolation
  • others listed below

My clients often worry about failing. A loss of hope or inspiration becomes masked in many ways like fatigue, impatience, avoiding decisions, withdrawing from enjoyed activities, escaping with distractions, and increased focus on work. Unfortunately, our culture often does not address these issues.

Relationships with partners begin to change and it often comes with having less attention coming in. Furthermore, some may even wonder if they can even live up to expectations. Rigid approaches to holding onto “old school” masculinity also lead to increased stress and relationship issues.

With over fifteen years as a therapist, I am humbled and proud to offer individual therapy in the following areas: Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, severe mental health disorders, and of course supporting dads.

If you want to see if I would be a good fit as a therapist then please contact me at 610-679-8198 or e-mail at SBragg@therapyemail.com

Vulnerability is not weakness. And that myth is profoundly dangerous.
